---------------------------- Subyek: Pemberlakuan Peraturan Dirjen Pajak PER-70/PJ Pelanggan Yang Terhormat, Sesuai dengan Peraturan Direktur Jenderal Pajak Nomor PER-70/PJ/2007 tanggal 9 April 2007, yang dikuatkan dengan Surat Keputusan Kantor Pelayanan Pajak Madya Jakarta Pusat Nomor S-506/WPJ.06/KP.1207/2007 tanggal 4 Desember 2007, dengan ini kami informasikan bahwa CBN sebagai Penyedia Jasa Internet tidak lagi dikenakan pemotongan PPh pasal 23. Pada peraturan tersebut tidak lagi disebutkan adanya objek pemotongan PPh pasal 23 atas Jasa Lain-lain terkait dengan Jasa Telekomunikasi Bukan untuk Umum serta Jasa Pemanfaatan Informasi di Bidang Teknologi termasuk Jasa Internet. Bagi pelanggan yang telah melakukan pemotongan PPh pasal 23 sebelum diberlakukannya peraturan perpajakan di atas, kami mohon agar dapat segera mengirimkan bukti potong PPh 23 yang asli ke kantor CBN sebelum 31 Januari 2008. ----------------------- Subject: Imposing Directorate General Taxation (Dirjen Pajak) PER-70/PJ/2007 Dear Valued Customers, In accordance with the regulation imposed by the Director General of Taxes, letter numbered PER-70/PJ/2007, dated 9 April 2007, which has justified by the Decree of Central Jakarta Taxation Office numbered S-506/WPJ.06/KP.1207/2007 dated December 4th, 2007, we hereby would like to inform you that CBN as an Internet Service Provider is exempted from Withholding Tax article 23. The newly imposed law does not govern the provision of Withholding Tax for income for telecommunication service which also includes any kind of services from Information Technology including Internet services. Based on this consideration, we strongly urge customers who have submitted Withholding Tax article 23 (PPh23) before this rule takes into effect, to immediately send us the original document to CBN before January 31st, 2008.
